Terms & Conditions

All visits to the Escents website at www.escentsaromatherapy.com are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

1) Privacy

All visitors to the site should review the Escents Privacy Policy. All visits to the Escents website at www.escentsaromatherapy.com are subject to this Privacy Policy.

2) Purchasing / Products Policy

The products detailed on the Escents web site and any promotional material such as samples that we may provide you with, are for personal use only. We do not allow the personal or commercial resell of our products. If we find that at any given time we are made aware of any orders placed in direct violation of this policy we reserve the right to cancel or reduce the quantity of any orders at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

3) Accuracy of Information

We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products on the site; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colors or other content available on the site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

4) Shipping Policy

Shipping Options

All purchases are shipped from our warehouse in Vancouver, BC, Canada, by Canada Post, to arrive within suggested time frame (see below) from receipt of your order. For an additional charge, we can expedite delivery to most destinations in North America in 2 - 5 business days.

  • The shipping and handling cost for your order is based on your requested method of shipping.
  • Orders are shipped on business days only, excluding Canadian public holidays. Please note that shipping time lines are from the date that the order leaves our warehouse, not from the date that the order is placed.
  • Delivery times shown below are based upon normal business volumes. You may choose to upgrade the shipping method for faster delivery. Unfortunately, not all delivery methods are available to all areas.
  • If for any reason, Canada Post sends the shipment back to the Escents warehouse after numerous failed delivery attempts, re-shipping the package will be at the expense of the customer.
  • United States customers are responsible for all import duties levied by US Customs and International customers are responsible for all import duties levied by US and respectable countries customs. Orders may be held at the border increasing the number of days it will take for your package to arrive.
  • We only ship to residential address' including PO Boxes and business address', we do not ship to military bases in the United States.

Canadian P.O. Boxes & A.P.O. / F.P.O. Addresses

Shipping for Canadian P.O. Boxes, A.P.O. (Army Post Office) and F.P.O. (Fleet Post Office) addresses will be done through Canada Post.

Out of Stock Items

If after ordering your item is found to be out of stock we will contact you to discuss how you would like the order handled. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Escents does not accept back orders at this time.

Order Cancellation & Changes

We do not normally accept order cancellations or changes once an order has been processed. If you have a question about your order, please contact us at 1.800.964.1150 and quote your order number. Please ensure that the shipping address you provide during checkout procedure is accurate and complete before placing your order.

Order Tracking

When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment, which will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.

Before checking the status of your package, please allow 1- 2 business days for us to process your order. If you order over the weekend, your order will not be processed until the next business day.

Orders shall be deemed delivered when the shipping carrier provides confirmation that the package was successfully delivered to the address you submitted during the checkout procedure. Escents Body Products Inc. is not responsible for non-receipt of orders that have been deemed delivered. Escents Body Products Inc. is also not responsible for non-receipt of orders due to failure to properly submit an accurate and complete shipping address during the sign up procedure.

Shipping Frequently Asked Questions

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

You will need to create a new order if you would like to ship to more than one address.

What shipping method do you use?

All of our packages are shipped by Canada Post. However some packages may be delivered by an alternative carrier. If you require more information, please call Escents Customer Care at 1.800.964.1150.

Do I have to sign for delivery?

You will not have to sign for deliver, however, if nobody is available to receive the package, a notice will be left for the recipient to pick the item(s) up from the nearest post office.

What do I do if I have special delivery instructions?

Unfortunately, Canada Post does not accept special delivery instructions for orders placed through Escents web site at this time.

What happens to returns / refunds and exchanges?

Escents Body Products Inc. reserves the right to inspect all returns / refunds before issuing a credit. Online purchases are not subject to exchange. Escents Body Products Inc. will not refund original shipping and handling feeds on returns except in the case of manufacturer's defect. If you order arrives damaged from transit, or if you are missing an item that was on your invoice, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-964-1150.
