Aromatherapy Using Essential Oils for Snoring Essential oils can be an effective, natural way of getting snoring problems under control, whether it's caused by congestion or other forms of airway obstruction. Snoring is a common condition; studies estimate that 45% of men and 30% of women
snore on a regular basis. Below are a few ways to help stop snoring and all the sleeping difficulties that go with it.
Air Therapy Using Essential Oils to Stop Snoring If you snore on a regular basis, there are a number of essential oils that have been identified as being helpful, including: marjoram, cedarwood, lavender, eucalyptus globulus, and geranium. Diffusing one of these (or a blend) into the air you breathe using an ultrasonic diffuser while sleeping can help. If your snoring is caused by congestion as a result of a cold or flu, try our Respiration Essential Oil Blend.
Roll-on or Spray Solutions Using Essential Oils to Stop Snoring If using a diffuser isn't convenient, there are a number solutions you can roll onto your body or spray in the air. Our Anti-Snoring Essential Oil Roll-On recipe is an effective option. Or if you're snoring as a result of congestion, try our Respiration Roll-On. Sprays are also a convenient choice and can be used by the person sleeping with the snorer to help fix the situation. Try our Lavender Spray Mist or you can create your own solution using our unscented spray mist and any of the above essential oils. Read our aromatherapy custom blending guide for tips.
