Rosewood is a small evergreen tree from Brazil. It has a seductive, spicy floral scent and is said to be a natural anti-depressant and may act as an aphrodisiac and a general balancer to the emotions. Some experts say it has a hormonal effect, not unlike that claimed for rose and for geranium. It blends well with both of these oils.
