Allergy Blend

So with the lovely warming weather of spring comes something else much less pleasant. Allergies! Grass, trees, pollen, all of these are things which set off allergies for many people and keep them from enjoying the great outdoors. We have a blend that can help combat the streaming nose, and itchy eyes.

Take our 100ml Grapeseed oil base and add in the following oils:

21 drops of Lavender
15 drops of Lemon
12 drops of Myrrh
9 drops of Geranium
6 drops of Peppermint
3 drops of Roman Chamomile

Lavender is used due to its tendency to ease breathing and stimulate the immune system. Lemon is good for both of these things but it also gives you an energy boost and helps relieve tension and stress. Myrrh is a gum/resin and like other woods and resins is good for breathing and opening up the airways but in a more gentle manner than Eucalyptus. Peppermint is a stimulant which will help alleviate that tired, groggy feeling. Chamomile and Geranium both have calming and soothing effects and can help turn an uncomfortable allergy attack into a manageable inconvenience.
