Essential Oils to Improve Concentration / Reduce Mental Fatigue

Over the past decade, companies have started clue in to the benefits of essential oils to help improve the concentration and reduce mental fatigue. Many have started aromatherapy programs infusing essential oils into the air of their work space to reap these benefits. Read on for strategies for using essential oils to improve your own concentration or to reduce mental fatigue at home, school or work.

Essential Oils & Air Therapy for Concentration/ Mental Fatigue

Several essential oils have been known to be effective for improving concentration and reducing mental fatigue, including: peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon, lavender, tea tree, and grapefruit. Our Respiration Essential Oil Blend, combining top notes of eucalyptus and rosemary, and our Headache Relief Essential Oil Blend, combining top notes of peppermint and lavender, are also a great choices. Using any of these in an aromatherapy diffuser is a good way to give your concentration a boost when suffering from mental fatigue.

Essential Oil Bath & Body Care for Concentration/ Mental Fatigue

Taking time-outs to pamper yourself is a good way to minimize mental fatigue and refresh your mind to improve concentration, especially if you combine these time-outs with the use of the right essential oils. Essential oils absorb well in our extremities (i.e. our head and feet. Try our Stimulate Shampoo and Conditioner to infuse its peppermint and rosemary essential oils into your scalp. Or on the other end, try our Revitalizing Foot Scrub and Foot & Leg Lotion with peppermint and eucalyptus. Our Lavender bath and body product collection is also a good choice for this. Alternatively, you can add 10 drops of any of the essential oils suggested here directly to your bath, or blend them with our unscented bath and massage oil, unscented body salt scrub or any of our unscented body products.

Natural Wellness Solutions On-the-Go for Concentration/ Mental Fatigue

Both our Respiration Roll-on and our Headache Relief Roll-on are the best solution to improve concentration and reduce mental fatigue on the go. Our Lavender Spray Mist or our Revitalizing Spray Mist are also a good options. Alternatively, you can add a 1-2 drops of any of the essential oils listed here to a tissue and breathe into it deeply. Or you can create your on on-the-go solution adding any of the above essential oils or blends to our unscented roll-on or our unscented spray mist. Read our aromatherapy custom blending guide for tips.
