Preventing Head Lice with Essential Oils
Head lice are an itchy nuisance, and they can spread easily, but it's not hard to keep them out of your children's hair by taking precautions using essential oils. If you know there's an outbreak going on in your child's school, it's a good idea to take an active approach toward preventing them rather than simply dealing with them if your child ends up getting lice. Certain essential oils, including tea tree, lavender, eucalyptus globulus, rosemary, peppermint, cedarwood, geranium, neroli and lemongrass, can help keep these bugs at bay.

Further Lice Prevention Measures Using Essential Oils
Lice can also live in your clothing, sheets, and blankets. Use the same blend of essential oils indicated in the above recipe but blend it into an Unscented Spray Mist. Spritz this blend liberally on clothing, linens, etc, to help prevent lice infestation. |
