Faith Essential Oil Blend: Created by Escents Victoria location manager, Dawn Hartshorne.

When we were challenged by Escents founder Jacqui MacNeill a few months back to create our own special blend as a fun contest for all stores to get involved in, I automatically jumped at the idea of coming up with a blend that was creative and unique. I was determined to get my blend perfect, with just the right levels of top notes that would be appealing to many of our Escents clients. I proceeded blending and mixing away slowly adding a little of this essential oil and a little of that until I came up with a concoction that was inspiring and definitely different. I love patchouli, lavender and peppermint. This essential oil combination, along with a few other secret essential oils mix up into a perfect blend that promotes well being and grounds your soul. With a background in yoga, dance and fitness I am very much inspired by essential oils. I am constantly promoting healthy mind body connection to my clients and assist them in not only achieving healthy physical results but I promote healthy well being and body awareness. I truly feel that aromatherapy can assist us in connecting the body and mind in order to achieve a good sense of balance between the two. I have always created my own essential oil blends and worn them as perfume. I would constantly get people commenting and asking “ Who smells so good…is that you? What are you wearing?” I would explain that it was my own unique blend of essential oils. I have always preferred to be the girl that stands apart from the crowd weather it is by fashion statement or the perfume I wear. Either way, Aromatherapy has always been an important part of who I am and a unique form of my personality….a way to express myself creatively.

A close friend of mine who has been a huge influence in my life recently was inspiration for this blend. I would mix her up a perfume roll on every so often as a nice gesture and she eventually was “addicted” (and no mild addiction either! lol) to the scent of Faith which was originally called “Sultry Kelly” a silly and cute personal essential oil blend named specifically for my good friend Kelly who loved it so much.
