Aromatherapy Using Essential Oils for Baby's Colic Colic, a common condition in babies that cramps the intestines and makes them cranky and irritable, can be soothed through the use of essential oils. Part of this is helping the baby to relax and feel good, but certain essential oils can help ease the cramping too. Below are a couple of ways to use essential oils to treat colic.
Baby Essential Oil Bath & Massage for ColicA nice bath or massage can also help baby relax and make him or her feel good. Try either our colic remedy recipes including Aromatherapy Colic Bath & Massage Oil No. 1 and Aromatherapy Colic Bath & Massage Oil No. 2. Use this colic massage oil to massage baby's legs and torso or add to bath water. Or you can try creating your own blend using grapeseed oil and any of the following essential oils: lavender, bergamot, chamomile, geranium, mandarin, lemongrass, sweet orange, clary sage and ginger.
