Treating Burns/Sunburns with Essential Oils Essential oils can be a good way to help heal mild burns and sunburns faster. If you're dealing with burns or sunburns that are more than reddened or mildly blistered, consult with a doctor immediately. If the skin is charred or severely blistered don't bathe it in water. If clothing or anything else is attached to the skin, leave it as it is. Simply cover the area with a clean cotton cloth and allow the area to be professionally treated. Below are ways you can treat minor burns with essential oils.
Treatment of Sunburns with Essential Oils
Taking a cool bath with essential oils can help relieve pain and heal your skin. Try our Lavender Bath Bomb or our Relaxation Bath Bomb (with lavender and geranium). Our bath bombs contain healing Vitamin E and baking soda to help heal and soften skin. Or simply add a few drops of any of the essential oils listed above directly to your bath water.
