Aromatherapy Using Essential Oils as an Aphrodisiac
Essential oils are a popular choice of aphrodisiac. We are all well aware that scent ties into our emotions in a powerful way and sexuality is very much an emotional affair. Essential oils have been used for centuries for inspiring passion and sexual arousal to increase our sense of intimacy or to counter impotence and frigidity. Below are a few ways essential oils can be used as an aphrodisiac to put some "oomph" back into your love life.
Essential Oils Air Therapy as An Aphrodisiac
Several essential oils have been known to be effective in dealing with mood swings, including: rose, rosewood, jasmine, sandalwood, neroli, clary sage, patchouli, ylang ylang, and clove bud. Geranium oil can also be helpful for getting in the mood, not so much because it's an aphrodisiac but because it is a great general mood balancer. Our Sensuality Essential Oil Blend, combining top notes of ylang ylang and patchouli, as well as Love Essential Oil Blend, combining top notes of rose and jasmine, are wonderful choices for blends. Using any of these in an aromatherapy diffuser is a good way to put love in the air. Also try our Sensuality Soy Jar Candle or our Love Soy Jar Candle to add romantic lighting.
